Yamana Gold to spin off Brio subsidiary as standalone company

Oct 17 (Reuters) - Canadian miner Yamana Gold said on Monday it plans to spin off its Brio Gold subsidiary, which owns non-core gold mining properties in Brazil, to its shareholders.
