With the Major League Baseball Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) set to expire at season's end, a number of franchises throughout the majors may need to slash team salaries in order to comply with potential wrinkles in the league's luxury tax structure. One remedy could be the pursuit of undervalued, overachieving players such as Jonathan Lucroy and Eduardo Nunez which earned a spot in Tuesday's All Star Game, despite making far less than some of their overpaid peers.
