In trading on Friday, the Gold Miners ETF (GDX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 4.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Sibanye Gold (SBGL), up about 16.4% and shares of Alamos Gold (AGI), up about 7.2% on the day.
